This is to inform the general public and especially candidates that have participated in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams (UTME, UME and MPCE) that they can now check their results here for free.

To check your JAMB result for any year, all you have to do is  follow the procedure outlined below.

How to Print JAMB Result for Any Year.

  1. Go to http://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility/ and create an account.
  2. After successfully creating an account, go back to the link in the previous step (1) and login.
  3. After a successful payment, you can now proceed to printing your result slip by ‘selecting your exam year’ and entering your ‘JAMB registration Number’ in the required column.

Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Admission Status Checking Portal for UTME & DE Candidates

The management of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has activated the portal where Direct Entry and UTME candidates can now check or confirm their admission status for all years. Checking of admission status on JAMB portal is totally FREE!

As a matter of fact, some schools may not even publish their admission list on their own portal or notice board on time. So for candidates that applied for admission in such schools, the only way to know when they have been offered admission is to check their admission status on JAMB Admission Status Checking Portal.

How to Check JAMB Admission Status.

If you already have a JAMB profile, just jump to the five (5) simple steps outlined below on how to check JAMB admission status:

  • STEP 1: Go to the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) E-facility portal at jamb.org.ng/efacility.
  • STEP 2: Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
  • STEP 3: After successfully logging in, scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
  • STEP 4: Select your Exam year and Enter your registration number in the required columns.
  • STEP 5: Finally, click on ‘Check Admission Status‘ to access your admission status.

Have you been offered admission? If yes, follow the link below to accept or reject your admission offer:

NB: Successfully admitted candidates are advised to ensure that they indicate the acceptance or rejection of admission online and timely to enable the processing of their admission.

It is important to note also that candidates who have been offered admission are to equally print their admission letter after accepting the admission, as they will likely need this during clearance and registration in the school that they have been admitted.

Not offered admission yet? Keep checking the JAMB website for your admission status. Note that the Admission List will be published in batches on JAMB portal as they are processed.

Successfully admitted? Share you success story in the comments section below.

Nigerian Universities that Accept Lower Credit for Direct Entry

Want to apply for Direct Entry with a Lower Credit grade on your National Diploma (ND)/Higher National Diploma (HND) certificates? Most universities prefer Upper Credit to Lower Credit (in the case of ND holders), however, candidates with Lower Credit can still approach some universities to be considered for admission.

Lower Credit HND got no problem. It’s accepted by most universities that admit via Direct Entry. But lower credit in ND is only considered by a few universities.

We have compiled the list of universities that accept Lower Credit based on the admission requirements recorded in JAMB Brochure.

  1.  All private universities – you may need upper credit for some courses.
  2. Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti
  3. University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN)
  4. Osun State University (UNIOSUN)
  5. Ahmadu Bello University (ABU)
  6. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University formerly Anambra State University (ANSU)
  7. University of Calabar (UNICAL)
  8.  University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID)
  9. Usman Dan Fodio University Sokoto (UDUSOK)
  10. Niger Delta University, NDU, Wilberforce
  11. Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUT
  12. Nasarawa State University (NSUK), Keffi

  14. Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University, UMYU
  15. Federal University of Technology, Minna, FUTMINNA
